Following the 204th Plenary meeting held in Nairobi, the Commission announced that a fresh Presidential Election will be held in Kenya on the 17th October 2017.
The Department of Immigration has advised that the processing of all work permits and Alien cards may be delayed due to the elections.
If there at any applications that needs to be submitted for a work permit or alien card, we recommend that this be done as soon as possible to avoid any further delays in obtaining the work permit/alien card.
We will follow up closely with the Immigration Authorities in terms of the processing times and will provide further updates.
