The Immigration Authorities in Kenya have included Police Clearance Certificates in their requirements for all applicants above the age of 18. This is applicable for the below permits:
- Work Permits
- Dependents Permits
- Special Passes
For new applications, Police Clearance Certificates must be obtained form the applicant’s home country or country of residence.
For renewal of applications, the Police Clearance Certificate must be obtained from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation( DCI) offices.
This new requirement is with effect from the 02 October 2017.
