Thank you, in advance, for taking time out of your busy day to consider the following. My husband and I relocated to South Africa from Thailand in June of 2011. My husband works for Black and Veatch on the Kusile Power Plant project. Black & Veatch, thankfully, had hired Stepping South to help us through the numerous aspects of our latest transition!! This was a first for us after 19 years with this company!! We had always been left to “fend for ourselves” in any new country we were forced to make home due to works requirements.
I gather our experience is all in a day’s work for your team, but we were very pleasantly surprised and thrilled with the help!!! Rene showed up bright and early the morning after our arrival and had numerous homes for us to view. Next, we were introduced to Vicky, who took over the reins without missing a beat and showed us around a bit more. And then, the jewel in the crown, Jenny, was introduced to us through a company friend that she had helped!!
I do have to say, all three ladies put our minds at ease, showed us more in the way of every day Afrikaan living then we ever expected and were just generally lovely people!! It would have taken us months to get acquainted with the towns of Pretoria and Bronkies without their help! Not to mention the friendship they all three extended our way!! What an exceptional group you are so fortunate to have in your employ!!!
